Safe, trustworthy and focused on development

Our day-care centres are safe, enjoyable and challenging environments where your baby is given optimal care, attention and will learn to play with others. The children are being taken care of in:

  • a vertical group (0-4 years) with a maximum of 12 children and 2 child care workers.
  • a baby group (0-2 years) with a maximum of 9 children and 2 child care workers.
  • a toddler group (2-4 years) with a maximum of 16 children and 2 child care workers.

The different developmental stages of babies and toddlers will be taken into account during the activities. Sometimes we combine groups to provide an age-specific activity, such as an outing in a pull-along wagon. We work thematically. Based on a specific theme, the play corner will suddenly be transformed into a bakery, post office or camping site. Such a theme comes with a variety of creative game activities, while the children will learn new concepts playfully. There is additional choice for children aged 3 and up.

In the autumn of 2018, we will start with Konnect, a new parental portal. Our child care workers will keep a digital diary and take photographs of the adventures of your child. Using the app, you can look into this anytime and anywhere and you can easily send messages to our employees.

Areas and nature discovery garden
The group and outdoor areas are organised to encourage the babies’ and toddlers’ curiosity, to stimulate their independence and self-reliance and to provide a place where they can feel safe and secure. Every location has a special corner for babies, where it is safe for them to go on a journey of discovery and where their senses are being stimulated. We aim to go outdoors every day, where the children are happy to play in our nature discovery garden.

Daily schedule and feeding

Getting used to the DCC

We believe it is important to get to know you and your child well, which is why we place great value on an adjustment period, so the child will get to know the child care workers and the other children in the safe presence of its parent. During the introductory talk we will agree on an adjustment period.
